This inspiring engagement session took place in Los Angeles during the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The couple, Kira and Ray, originally from Hong Kong, lived in Vancouver, BC and found me at the Creme de la Creme Show by Countdown Events.
Kira and Ray were so full of energy and zest for life, they decided to capture their love story at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the LA Observatory. On the West Jet flight to LA, I soaked up the views of the Santa Monica Pier and the Hollywood sign in the distance.
A beautiful clear blue sky set the perfect ambiance for their outdoor photos among the well manicured gardens, with fully bloomed cherry blossoms in front of the Concert Hall. Once inside, the couple were a vision of sophistication against a background of geometric minimalist architecture. The buildings' exterior was designed with stainless steel, giving it a unique matte finish. While inside, the couple stood out against the highly polished mirror-like panel walls.
The couple walked hand-in-hand, barefoot on the beach, while the sun cast perfect white light on the crashing waves. Playful laughter filled the shoreline as Kira and Ray dipped their toes in the water, and danced in the sunlight.
Walking along the sunset terrace of the LA Observatory, Ray could not keep his eyes off his beautiful fiancée. Her smile, sweet and soft, as he held her hand and danced her around in a circle.
It’s more than just the visual, to see two people so in love, you can feel it in the way they hold each other, hear it in the way they speak. Love is all encompassing.
Congratulations Kira and Ray!
XOXO
