Bride Sanaz, a registered nurse at VGH, met her love Arash, who worked for Microsoft as an engineer, and became engaged in Mexico. They began the wedding planning process and agreed that guest experience was the most important. They wanted their guests to have a memorable night with great food, open bar and unforgettable music. Sanaz and Arash chose to host their wedding in the most lavish setting in Vancouver. With fine dining, breathtaking views of the city and floor to ceiling windows. A picture of sophisticated elegance at Vancouver’s premier luxury hotel, Trump Vancouver.
On the morning of her wedding, Sanaz and her bridesmaids, all dressed in their matching custom blush satin robes, began to get their hair done by Mahyar Khoda, and their makeup done by Haleh. Sanaz wore a stunning up-do with a side swept front and elegant crystal headpiece. Sanaz presented her lovely bridesmaids with a special gift, selected specifically for each girl, from Pandora. The ladies all toasted in celebration and thanked their bride for the very thoughtful gift. Then, with hair and makeup complete, the ladies all dressed in their gowns. The bridesmaids wore floor length blush halter dresses, with a fitted waist detail. Sanaz slipped into her Martina Liana gown from Bisou Bridal, with a flowing sheer veil that created a soft romantic look and paired perfectly with the cascade of white orchids in her bouquet. Lastly, she slipped into her Swarovski crystal Louboutin’s, as her and her mother shared a special moment together before making her way to see her groom.
Meanwhile Arash had began to dress in his black Indochino tux, white shirt, and black bow tie with the help of his groomsmen. The finishing touches included a Rolex watch and custom cuff links which had the wedding date and a photo of the couple pictured.
Cracking a bottle of Blue Label, the gentlemen toasted to the couples happy marriage, then made their way to the front of the Trump to meet the ladies for first look photos.
The bridal party stood anxiously to the side as Sanaz slowly began to make her way towards Arash. With a smile of eager anticipation across his face, Arash felt the gentle tap of his soon to be wife, he turned slowly to take in the moment where he first saw the love of his life in her wedding dress. A vision in white with a soft veil draping delicately across her face. Her bouquet of beautiful white orchids wrapped in white ribbon complimented perfectly in her arms. They shared a kiss and embraced each other in sheer bliss. Moving into bridal party portraits around the hotels gorgeous stairwell, and many candid interior spaces, then finally moving outdoors to capture portraits under an old oak tree and with the Trump’s classic electric blue Rolls Royce.
Lining a white aisle runner in the sunlit ceremony room, sat rows of white acrylic chairs, and white pillars holding delicate crystal vases and large arrangements of white orchids and hydrangeas. At the front of the aisle sat a white mirror top Sofreh set by Haleh. The lavish all-white setup was the definition of elegance. As family and friends began to arrive and settle into their seats, soft music played in the background and the bridal party waited silently by the doors to begin. Once cued by the wedding planner Hasti from La Vista Events, the bridal party began down the aisle, followed by the bride and her mother, who hugged her new son-in-law, then took her seat in the front. A beautiful Persian Ceremony followed by gifts given to the bride and groom from their beloved family, and then into a cocktail hour filled with family and friends eager to congratulate the newlyweds.
During the cocktail hour, the finishing touches were added to an elegant ballroom filled with opulence and crystal light. The mix of long rectangular, circle and oval tables, added a unique flare to the room, along with the mixture of heights of tall crystal candelabras and low crystal candlesticks. Huge arrangements of white orchids and hydrangeas atop crystal vases with flowers spiraling downwards to the tablescape, which was set with a mix of gold rimmed chargers and crystal beveled chargers. A white dance floor with a monogram of the word “love” in Farsi, sat just in front of a wall of white sheer pipe and drape. Four custom built white blossom trees framed the sweetheart table that was set for the couple with a white chaise chair and a low table filled with draping white orchids and floating candles. The cake sat just to their right with four tiers of elaborate detail by Jaconde Patisserie, with the same monogram “love” in Farsi.
Upon their grand entrance the couple began their first dance, a choreographed number that left their guests standing in applause. The evening continued with speeches from their loved ones which had the couple laughing and crying. With an exquisite and delicious buffet meal, and a full bar of desserts to finish, guests were pleased. And with live entertainment, including a DJ, saxophonist and guitarist, the crowd was on the dance floor all night long. A memorable night for everyone to remember for years to come.
After their wedding, Arash surprised Sanaz with a teacup Pomeranian from Korea. With the help of La Vista Events, Arash planned an unforgettable surprise with the good old switcheroo. Sanaz thought she was dog sitting Hasti’s dog (Bubzi), but instead she got the surprise of a lifetime when she found out it was her own little Pomeranian puppy that she named Mickey. Mickey even has his own Instagram mickey.the.pomeranian where you can check out his day to day life .
Congratulation to Sanaz & Arash!
