This heavenly, all-white, wedding was nestled among the impressive coastal mountains at the chateau style venue of the Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club.
Nazanin and Nima selected the venue for its perfectly manicured landscape as they wanted their ceremony outdoors, and for the stunning floor to ceiling windows in the ballroom of the country club.
The power couple had planned to open their own Sofreh Design company and wanted to show off their amazing inventory and design skills by setting up their own Sofreh on their wedding day. So before hair and makeup, Naz and Nima braved the morning drizzle and began setting the multi-tiered white acrylic tablescape, adorned with the most lavish array of Persian traditional items, mixed with cascading florals and crystal candelabras. The aisle was lined in clear acrylic chairs and in behind the Sofreh, on top of clear plexi pillar, sat two enormous arrangements of white orchids and white hydrangeas as well as four custom built white blossom trees form Mohani Events.
Hair and makeup began in the bridal room for Naz, where a elegant pulled back up-do with a crystal embellished headpiece was perfectly placed to complement the sophisticated smokey eyed makeup and pop of red lipstick. Her diamond dropped earring, necklace and bracelet set, all paired perfectly with her strapless, fitted gown with the stunning wide tulle hem that gave the gown a one of a kind look. Slipping into her pale blue Manolos with crystal embellishments as her long trailing veil was placed, she was ready for the first look at her groom.
Meanwhile, in the gentlemens' room, the groom was busy getting his hair styled by Mr. Faded just before putting on his black three piece suit with a white orchid boutonniere. Posted at the entrance to the resort, in between the rows of old oak trees and expense of greenery and mountain views, Nima waited for his bride. As she approached, a smile crept across his face and she giggled and smiled bright as he turned around in awe of her beauty. Portraits of the couple began in amongst the beautiful landscape that surrounded the venue, ending in the white Rolls Royce that would carry them back for for family portraits and then ceremony.
The ceremony commenced and guests took to their seats as Nima walked down the aisle with his mother by his side. Next, Nima’s sister and niece made their way down the aisle spreading petals along the way. Finally, guest stood as Nazanin, escorted by her mother, made her entrance down the aisle with all eyes on her. Nima pulled out a chair for her once she got to the Sofreh, and the couple sat hand in hand as the officiant began the readings.
The traditional Persian ceremony continued, followed by a kiss and some lovely gifts given to the couple by the families. As guests made their way to a rooftop cocktail hour, the newlyweds got a sneak peak at the ballroom that was lavishly decorated in all white and crystal details. Layering heights of crystal candelabras with low crystal candlesticks, mixed with high and low round arrangements filled with white orchids. A mixture of long white tables and round tables draped in satin tablecloths with silver accents and abundance of candlelight.
Upon their grand entrance the couple was surrounded by guests on the dance floor which was a brilliant high gloss white wrap with a silver custom monogram. With a five-star buffet meal and a seven tiered all white cake with silver embellishments and handmade sugar flowers, the guests were amazed. Everyone danced the night away with musical styling from DJ Ali Fard accompanied by a live saxophone performance.
An unforgettable night to cherish forever, Nazanin and Nima gave their guests an incredible experience and the most wonderful memories. Congratulations to the Happy Couple!
XOXO
